Biography
Mr. Darshan D. Dave is a Gold Medalist in Highway & Transportation Engineering with expertise in traffic engineering and pavement design. His core areas of interest include traffic data collection and analysis, pavement crust thickness design, mix design for bituminous and non-bituminous pavement layers, pavement quality concrete mix design, and pavement condition assessment. His postgraduate dissertation, "Urban Roadway Capacity Estimation by Incorporation of Dynamic Passenger Car Units," was carried out at the CSIR - Central Road Research Institute (CSIR-CRRI), New Delhi, and its findings contributed to Chapter 4 - "Interurban and Urban Expressways" of the Indian Highway Capacity Manual - 2017 (Indo-HCM), a key reference document for highway capacity analysis and transportation planning in India. He currently serves as Director and Dy. Technical Manager at Shreenath Laboratories & Consultants Private Limited.
